is a Los Angeles based photographer for fashion, event, portraiture, headshots and commercial photography. Intrigued by all things beautiful and pleasurable, her work has a deeply sensual feeling about it. Animal, vegetable, or mineral, all her subjects are presented in a striking -- sometimes provactive -- manner.
Working primarily from her in-home studio in Hollywood, California, her photographic process begins by creating a warm and comfortable shooting environment. Even when there are stylists, make-up artists and assistants scurrying to get the job done, keeping the shoot stress-free and dedicated to getting the best possible photographs is always the ultimate goal.
Alley's professional photography career started in 2000 when she began shooting for an online retailer with a small clothing line with a counter culture appeal. This quickly led to a relationship with Los Angeles night-club promoters from Miss Kitty's Parlour. She was the staff photographer for 2 years shooting both the club nights for the website and doing the studio work with the performers for promotional materials. In 2005 she decided to focus on more commercial photography and interned with Los Angeles photographer Mark Robert Halper. This experience greatly influenced her methodolgy and she continues to collaborate with other photographers to continue to grow as an artist.
